Sara works on the team as a Five Element Traditional Acupuncturist incorporating Japanese Shiatsu massage.
She joined the Wymondham Chiropractic Clinic team in 2002 after a successful period of practice at the prestigious Napier clinic in Glasgow. The clinic has provided Sara with a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with other practitioners that has given greater benefit to patients.
Sara says it was her brother, Andrea's vision of creating a multi-disciplinary practice excelling in patient care and diagnosis that drew her to live and work in Norfolk.
Sara's personal martial arts and yoga practice has informed her life long interest in oriental medicine and philosophy. This led to a long period of study with renowned European and Japanese teachers and over ten years of Shiatsu clinical practice.
To further her understanding and knowledge Sara gained her Licentiate in traditional Acupuncture from London's School of Five Element Acupuncture and is currently working toward an MA in Traditional Acupuncture.
Sara's research and work lies in identifying and understanding our own unique character/energy and patterns of imbalances that may appear, causing pain, stresses and disease (dis-ease). Sara will then create an individual plan and treatment to help each person regain their balance and restore health.
Sara works with a wide range of ailments and complaints from frozen shoulders, to internal organ imbalances to emotional and psychological problems and trauma. Sara has also successfully worked with general feelings of ill health such as nausea or low energy.
